Betty Butt, the leader of Atlanta’s Twerk Team, is dead.
The YouTube sensation, who was known for
her twerking skills, was reportedly gunned down on Wednesday, November 12 inside her apartment building in Atlanta.
Security officers report that Betty and her boyfriend were walking to her home when they were approached by three men who shot at them.
Betty was said to have died on the spot from a wound to the head while her boyfriend survived the attack.
The Twerk Team has confirmed the incident via Twitter saying:
“We love you and will miss you sis #RipBeTTyBuTT”
Investigations are still ongoing into the incident. May her soul rest in peace.
