"Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga Do Not Inspire Me"

Taylor Swift may have just started a big war with Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga after she told Time magazine she has no female role models in the music industry just because those like the above mentioned sell themselves as sex objects just to star relevant and on top of the charts.
The 24-year-old country/pop super star, whose
recent album 1989 have sold over 1million copies in its first week of release is the new face of Time magazine’s 'Power' issue.
“I’m sure there will be things that my grandkids make fun of me for no matter what, but I’d really rather it be, ‘Look how awkward your dancing was in the ‘Shake It Off’ video! You look so weird, Grandma!’ rather than ‘Grandma, is that your nipple?’” Taylor told Time.
“I surround myself with smart, beautiful, passionate, driven, ambitious women. Other women who are killing it should motivate you, thrill you, challenge you and inspire you rather than threaten you and make you feel like you’re immediately being compared to them,” she added about women who inspire her.
She didnt end there. Taylor also made mention to the fact women who go under the knife to feel pretty cannot be inspirational.
“I just struggle to find a woman in music who hasn’t been completely picked apart by the media, or scrutinized and criticized for aging, or criticized for fighting aging—it just seems to be much more difficult to be a woman in music and to grow older,” she said.
So which woman truly sets a record for Mis Taylor? Here is her pick!
Law & Order: SVU actress Mariska Hargitay! “She’s one of the highest paid actresses actors in general, women or men on television, and she’s been playing this very strong female character for, what, 15 years now?,” she said.
Eventhough Taylor may seem to have a point or two, do we smell revenge in her Time interview? We earlier reported that legendary singer Aretha Franklin dissed Taylor and Nicki Minajearlier this week in an interview with The World Street Journal ... saying both singers are NOT DIVAS!
