Triple MG boss, Ubi Franklin is no stranger in the Nigerian music industry. Having successfully managed Iyanya to limelight, the duo would later go on to
establish Triple MG which has Emma Nyra, Tekno, Basi and Selebo signed under it.

But asides Triple MG and women, there's more to the Madonna University graduate. Here's 5 things you probably didn't know about Ubi Franklin.
- He Read Law: Before Ubi became a record label boss, Ubi was a Law Student at the Madonna University.
- Son Of A High Court Judge: It's not entirely by accident that Ubi chose to read Law, before his passing, Ubi's father worked as a High Court Judge.
- Served As PA To Julius Agwu: In his early days in the entertainment industry, Ubi served as a Personal Assistant to popular comedian, Julius Agwu for 2 years. He also attempted to manage 2Face Idibia's social media accounts for awhile.
- Brain Behind "Kukere": Although Iyanya had originally been the one to conceive of "Kukere" following a burst of inspiration after a trip to Calabar, he never quite completed recording the song until Ubi tricked him into completing it. The song went on to become a hit single.
- Bunk-Mates With Kelly Handsome: As students in Madonna University, the duo shared a bunk and also were friends as they both began to cut their teeth in entertainment.
