Photos from the Commissioning of the Akwa Ibom International Stadium!


This is believed to be the biggest Stadium in the whole of West Africa... The Akwa Ibom International Stadium nicknamed the nest of Champions and was commissioned this evening by the Nigerian president who was in attendance along with his Ghanaian counterpart.

It is Modelled after the Allianz Arena in Germany, and boasts 4 -tier, covered, seating terrace, all-natural grass, high-tech floodlights and security cameras, 36 emergency
exits, bullet proof VVIP and VIP along with other ultra-modern facilities.... Photos are courtesy of NTA. Official pics soon! There is an ongoing match between Super Eagles and the black stars of Ghana as part of the commissioning...
