Pastor Adeboye Speaks Against Marriages

00
In his new book “Journey To Marriage” the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, spoke about marriage, but in quite an unusual way for a clergyman.
The book of the Man of God is dedicated to the issue of marriage, it tells you whether to tie the knot or not, it also serves as a spiritual guidance to help the spouses-to-be prepare for the wedding, Nigeriafilms reports with reference to Daily Times.
The famous Nigerian cleric started with explaining why it is better not to be married.
“Please let this point be clear from the beginning. Marriage is a very beautiful thing, but when you think seriously about the matter the one who does not marry is better than the one who does. Almost all the mighty men tremendously used by God never married.
Such people include Elijah, Elisha, Paul, Jesus, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Stephen. Somehow, they ‘did not get into the “trouble” I am happy being married, like somebody said, like trailer it drags you.”
He continued that those single focus on godly things while those married occupy themselves with the matters of their spouses.
“The bible says clearly that those who are not married mind only the things of God, while those who are married mind the things of their husbands and their wives. I have a rough idea that when we get to heaven those who are not married will score higher marks than those of us who are married.”
Thus, he concluded that one should first “consult” God regarding whether one should marry or not.
“So your first step to marriage therefore should be to ask God if he wants you to marry or not according to the man of God. If the answer is negative then pray to God to let you settle down and begin your work for him. You could argue that it is God who says we should increase and multiply. Yes but do all those who marry get children?”
It would be recalled that earlier this year the Adeboye spoke about so-called Facebook marriages saying that relationships that start in the virtual world won’t last long.
“If you marry the modern way like on Facebook, you may likely divorce the modern way. Marry traditionally and involve God.”
He made the remark while speaking at the wedding of President Goodluck Jonathan’s foster daughter Faith.
Adeboye also put responsibility for the marriage success on husband because the man is the head of the family.

Though Whiskey is generally consider a man’s drink, woman who take it are seen as special.  Elite Daily writes of 10 reasons why you should always go for a girl who drinks whiskey. She’s a little bit badass : Whiskey drinkers are typically generalized as “badass” and it couldn’t have came to fruition without some level of truth to it. But just because she doesn’t drive a motorcycle or play bass guitar doesn’t mean she can’t have a little wild streak you don’t know about. And, judging by the bourbon on the rocks she’s clutching, she probably does. She’s emotional: She’s very in touch with her emotions – thanks in part to whiskey – especially after she has one too many whiskey shooters and lets you know how she really feels. Whiskey drinkers appear apathetic to the majority of mankind — but after you get to know people who love a good tumbler of whiskey and you share a few drinks with them, you’ll realize just how passionate they are. She isn’t afraid ...
