chibok girls to be released on moday

Indications emerged yesterday that the members of Boko Haram sect have agreed to release the Chibok girls, latest Monday, next week. This was made known by a self-acclaimed secretary General of the insurgents, Mallam Danladi Ahmadu.
This message of hope is coming few days after some women were abducted from Waga Mongoro, a community situated between Gwoza town of Borno State and Madagali town in Adamawa. Ahmadu said that the final meeting between the group and the Federal Government to finally seal the ceasefire deal has been slated for Monday in Ndjamana, Chad and to be supervised by the Chadian leader, Idris Derby. The sect member, who spoke in the Hausa service of the Voice of America VoA on Friday in Yola said that the Chibok Girls would surely be released on Monday to the Chadian President, Idris Derby for onward presentation to the Nigerian government. Ahmadu also disclosed to VoA that the group and the Federal government were in close consultations over arrangements for the Monday meeting in Chad. On the latest abduction of over 40 women and girls in the border villages between Adamawa and Borno states, the Secretary General maintained that as far as the Boko Haram is concern it is not aware of the latest kidnap and attacks.
Danladi Ahmadu stated that the kidnapers are not members of the anti-western education group.

Building Collapse: TB Joshua Compensates Families With N750,000 Each

The General Overseer of the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, Prophet T.B Joshua has stated through the church spokesperson, Kirsten Nematandani, that the church will be compensating the families of the victims who lost their lives during the collapse of the Church’s guest house on Friday, September 12, 2014 with the sum of  50,000rands  (N750, 000) to each family. According to Kirsten, “The church has pleaded with the Nigerian government to expedite the repatriation process in order for families to bury the deceased with dignity and receive closure. “We have done a full audit of each family’s financial needs and assisted with various household expenses, as many of the deceased were breadwinners.” “The SCOAN church is donating a sum of 50,000 rand to each victim’s family for various expenses”, he said. Recalled that large cross section of those who lost their lives in the incident were South Africans.
