Reflecting on
his late son as the anniversary of his death approaches... as well as thanksgiving Walker III told ET's Nancy O'Dell:
"I'm not looking forward to Thanksgiving. He [Paul] died two days after that and I guess it'll probably be that way until I'm with him. It's a sad time. We're a very close, loving family and Paul is a piece that's missing now, that we're always going to miss."
"I'm missing him more now, the last month...It's not getting any better for me." He added.
The "Fast & Furious" actor was killed in a fatal car accident in Santa Clarita, Calif. on Nov. 30, 2013 at the age of 40.
Twelve months later, Walker III is reflecting on the heartbreaking time. He told ET that his family informed him of his son's death.
"I kept getting calls," the father of five said. "My brother says, 'Paul has been killed.' I'm thinking somebody's got it wrong. He says, 'You need to get over to the house, everybody's there.' My feet wouldn't move."
The man further recalled his last moment with his son. He said:
"The last time I saw him, he gave me a kiss on the cheek, I gave him one. I tell him I loved him," Walker III said. "It's a great memory."
