‘Vampire Diaries’ Spoilers: Damon Will Do Anything To Return To Elena

 vampire-diaries-season-6-1

Delena fans, don’t give up hope just yet! With ‘TVD’ returning Today Oct. 2, we’re all wondering what the future holds for Damon and Elena now that he’s on the Other Side!

Season six is back and will most likely be bloodier than ever — but The Vampire Diaries may not be ready to let go of the love story between Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) just yet. (And I’m obviously not either.) Both Nina and Ian spoke out in a new interview and revealed that they’re not exactly throwing in the towel on the Delena romance.

‘Vampire Diaries': Damon & Elena Back Together?

Just because Damon was sent to
the Other Side with Bonnie (Kat Graham) at the end of the season, that doesn’t mean it’s the end of Delena — at least not in Damon’s eyes.

“He’s pissed off. They’re stuck in a place they don’t want to be, and Damon’s fiercely loyal. He feels the need to get back to his family,” Ian told Entertainment Weekly. “They’re trying everything. They’re Scooby-Doo-ing that sh– like crazy.”
Clearly Ian has a goofy side, just like he says Damon does, but he’s serious about a few things — namely, seeing Elena Gilbert again.
“He’ll go through every length to make that happen,”Ian said. “It’s a driving force in his life. Damon doesn’t give a shi-t about very much except his home, his brother, and his girl.”

Elena’s Non-Conventional Way Of Mourning

So how exactly is Elena moving on? Well, we know that she’s is taking some sort of hallucinogen to see Damon again.
“We do fast forward four months, so the initial shock grieving, we’ve already surpassed,” Nina told the magazine. “Now we’re seeing the second phase of it, which is eerily deceiving and odd. It’s not a very conventional way of dealing with grief.”
